Pool Rules
At Hartridge Swim & Tennis Club, safety is our top priority. All of our pool rules reflect safety and hygiene standards informed by county codes and member preferences. If you have any questions regarding these rules or swim operations, please email HOA@Hartridge.org.
- The dates and hours of pool operation will be determined and announced by the Pool Committee. Hours will be posted at the pool and on the website at www.Hartridge.org.
- The pool manager may, at his or her discretion, close the pool during periods of inclement or bad weather and at any other time when he/she considers that safety and health are endangered. On occasion, the pool may be temporarily restricted from general use to permit special events and water programs as authorized by the Pool Committee.
- Disciplined pools are safe pools; therefore, discipline will be maintained at all times. No swimmer is exempt from discipline.
- Lifeguards must be respected and their instructions obeyed at all times. Failure to obey lifeguard instructions will result in disciplinary action up to and including dismissal from the pool and revocation of pool use privileges.
- All members must sign in when they enter the pool area.
- There should be no solo swimming.
- All children under 12 years of age must be accompanied into the pool enclosure by a member or guest who is at least 14 years of age or older. This older person must provide careful supervision and attend to the younger child. Children age 12 and older are permitted to be at the pool unaccompanied during lifeguarded hours.
- Admission to the pool may be denied to any person having a skin infection, sore or inflamed eyes, a cold, nasal or ear discharge, communicable disease, excessive sunburn, open sores or wearing bandages of any kind.
- Admission will be denied to any intoxicated person. Any person intoxicated will be asked to leave the pool area.
