- Up to 2-18 gallon recycling bins for weekly recycling collection. All recycling is collected in a separate truck and taken to SP Recycling in Forest Park, Georgia.

CWS collects the following items in the recycling bins

o #1 thru #7 plastic food and beverage containers

o Glass (Brown, Clear or Green)

o Newspaper

o Junk Mail

o Catalogs

o Telephone Books

o Hardback and Paperback Books

o Magazines

o Cardboard

o Chipboard ( i.e. cereal boxes, dry good boxes)

o Aluminum and Steel Cans

 

- Optional: 65 gallon roll cart for recycling available upon request for additional $1.50 per month.

 

- Once a week yard trimmings collection. CWS will collect up to 12 brown paper lawn bags or 2- cubic yards of loose material per week. All yard trimmings are collected in a separate truck and taken to Smith Garden Products. Yard waste must be placed in brown paper composting bags or a 50-gallon metal or plastic container marked as yard waste only. THERE IS NO COLLECTION OF YARD TRIMMINGS IN PLASTIC BAGS.

 

- Bulky Trash Amnesty Day

o Provided for CWS customers only (semi-annually)

o Customers can enjoy the convenience of curbside collection of bulky items on the Bulky Trash Amnesty Days.
